Plan Upgrade

  I am trying to upgrade my free site to Premium. I have registered followingfrida.com followingfrida.org followingfrida.net with Go Daddy. I want to connect my blog to these domains. I also want support with setting this up and exploring options as this is my first blog. So I wanted to take my blog to the Premium plan from the free plan, but every time I try to pay for it….a message says this domain is already in use. Yes…I am using it. I do not understand what is wrong and why I cannot upgrade my free plan

  It sounds like you’re trying to register one of the domains again, you already own it so you want to go for the domain mapping option instead. It should appear at the bottom of the suggestions with the text:

  Already own a domain?
  Map this domain to use it as your site’s address.

  You get one included when you upgrade your plan but if you want to map the other 2 domains as well you’ll have to pay the yearly domain mapping fee twice more, once per domain.

  Thanks, that is exactly what happened. I chose a different domain and it went through.
