  Hi I am currently trying out your free plan right now, but I was wondering when I upgrade I that a monthly charge. I seen annual charge and I can’t handle that number right now.

  You can use a free plan for as long as you wish. If you do decide to upgrade you’ll need to pay annually in advance (or for 2 years to get a discount) as there is currently no monthly option at WordPress.com.
