  Hi,
  I’ve inquiry about if I can use subscription based membership plugin in business plan and if not is there any way to upgrade from Business plan to Woo commerce plan in the future?

  Hi there,

  That kind of functionality is not built into WordPress.com by default, but can be added by upgrading to our Business Plan, which will allow you to upload any plugin or theme “designed for WordPress”

  There are quite a few “membership” plugins to choose from, for example, which will add that functionality to your site: https://wordpress.com/plugins?s=membership

  You can add membership plugins under the eCommerce plan as well, but the Business plan will be more than sufficient.

  Is there any way to upgrade from Business plan to Woo commerce plan in the future?

  Yes, if you decide you need to move up to a higher plan we do not charge full price, only the difference in cost between the two upgrades. To put it another way, we “credit” the value of your current plan toward the new one to discount the price.

  If you would like to tell us a little more about the site you plan to set up we’re happy to clarify if the Business Plan will be sufficient or the eCommece plan makes sense. You can add the membership plugin under either plan.
