Plan upgrade

Earlier today I bought the least expensive WordPress plan for $48 for the year. A few minutes later I was offered the next upgraded plan for the same price that I had just paid. I asked the HELP if I could transfer my purchase, made just a few minutes earlier, to this upgraded plan.
I was taken in circles having to re-enter the same information 3 times and still got no answer.
Currently, I am very disappointed with Word Press. Is there any way to actually get HELP here?WP.com: Yes

Ok I think there’s some confusion happening here, I believe what you were seeing is credits being applied to a more expensive plan.
To explain, when it comes to upgrading, we would take into account the current purchase from the price of the next upgrade. So for example, as the personal plan was in use, we’d deduct that from the price of the premium plan.
I hope that helps to clarify things. Are you looking to upgrade from the personal plan to the premium plan out of curiosity?
