Plan upgrade and monetization

  I want to know maybe if I upgrade to the personal plan, I will be able to register and make some cash with wordpress advertisement (wordAds). And do the ads show on mobile? Lastly, I hear that it takes a lot of time to get approved. If I apply today, like when will I get approved? I currently have over 3000 pageviews per day.

  Yes, you can apply for WordAds to monetize your site. To be eligible for WordAds, you need to meet these criteria:

  • Your blog must be set as public
  • It must have a custom domain as the primary. Or, be self-hosted and using Jetpack.
  • You must be the owner of the blog

  If you visit the WordAds ‘Apply’ page, you will see a list of eligible blogs in your account:

  Apply for WordAds

  Upgrading to WordPress.com Premium or Business plans gives you automatic access to the WordAds program and you can set up advertising on your site immediately.

  And do the ads show on mobile?

  They do, yes!

  If I apply today, like when will I get approved?

  I’m not able to give you an exact timeframe for the approval process. It depends on your site meeting the eligibility requirements. There is more information about that on the WordAds FAQ page:

  I will get the plan and domain very soon and set it as my primary domain. What I want to know is that is my 70,000 monthly pageviews enough to get approved on wordads?

  Hi there,

  The WordAds FAQ page mentions a minimum traffic requirement but doesn’t state what the amount is:

  Our advertisers have a minimum traffic requirement. Once you reach the level they’re looking for, your application will be automatically sent to them for evaluation.

  I’m afraid I’m not able to give you any more information than that.
