Plan upgrades

I’m in the process of creating my site and had a question regarding the plan upgrades. I have currently purchased the starting plan of $67 a year. I discovered I’d actually need to upgrade to premium for what I want… However, it says I need to purchase the premium yearly rate on top of the plan I just purchased… So that’s another $120. Now, what if I discover I actually end up needing the Business plan? I’m expected to pay ANOTHER yearly bill of $375 on TOP of the nearly $200 I’ve already spent…? This doesn’t seem right.

Shouldn’t the difference be split between the upgrades? Shouldn’t I be charged $120 minus the $67 starting plan fee? And then if I move up to business, the $375 minus the $120 premium fee?

Otherwise, this is kind of ridiculous…

EDIT: I was just told by the AI that I am correct in thinking you purchase the new plans on top…. That is ludicrous. I’m learning how to use this site and what I’ll need, it’s not super easy for a pure beginner, so I purchased the starter plan to begin and get going… Only to very quickly discover I can’t do much without at LEAST premium. I was willing to upgrade for the difference now that I know what I know, but apparently I just spent nearly $70 to click a few buttons and be told I can’t do anything without paying another $120. I’m actually kind of livid. Now I need to see if they have a money back guarantee because I’m not sure I want to use this site any longer.

  • Hi @quartzelectrolysis, if you have an active upgrade, you should have “upgrade credits” that can be applied.

It looks like you bought a Business plan, got a 25% discount, and also had credits applied from the previous upgrade. Does that sound right?

Can also you share which AI gave that response, just so we’re aware?

Also, if you want to share what you have in mind for your site, we can recommend the best plan to support what you need. Premium does have quite a bit of options built into it, so we could point you to those if needed.
