Plane Theme – Excerpt view

I’m considering switching my theme to “Plane”.
While playing with it, I noticed that the Home page shows full posts. I know of the “show more” button in the post’s editor, but I like the excerpts to show on the Home page, not the beginning of the post.
The option was not easy to find, so I’m wondering if it is even possible. Any ideas? If not, then it might be a deal breaker for me.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As you have found, not all themes natively show blog excerpts on the front page. Technically, the “more” tag in the post editor is the best way to go around this. Showing post excerpts on the front page without using this tag is more of a bonus feature that some themes support, not the default.

Fair enough. Even though I don’t always know what to write in the excerpt box, I grew to really like it. And I think it’s a better way to showcase a post than show the beginning.
