Planning development prior to starting…

Hey guys! I’m new to WordPress. I’ve used Drupal and Joomla for a long time and am now switching over to WordPress for a lot of my projects.

Anyway, so I am planning development of a new website, and I have been looking at video playlist plugins. I need some advice on if you guys know of a good way to do this:

I’m trying to develop a website where my registered users are basically given a video playlist. They have to watch the first video before they can watch the next video. Once they have watched a video, it says that it has been watched, and has automatically cued their next video. Kind of like how hulu does, except you have to watch a prerequisite video before it will cue up the next. I figured there would be a playlist solution of some kind out there that I could modify with php or something.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

See here for a full comparison WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
