Planning for upgrade to Custom Domain

  I am planning to upgrade my blog to a custom domain which costs $18 a year. All I want to know is that, after upgrade, the wordpress.com blog admin panel, which I use to create posts, pages..etc would still remain with me ? Right ? I would still be able to use that panel, as before, to create posts and pages and managing other aspects of my blog ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  After Domain Mapping You will work in the EXACT same dashboard – not the custom domain name dashboard – BUT anyone that visits your blog will see the custom domain name displayed in their browser window

  Correction: provided you set the custom domain as primary, any visitors will see the new URL.
