  Hi I am planning to upgrade my account to personal. What if in the future I will not be able to pay for my domain will the people who have the link of my blog still be able to view it? will the mysitename.com work or it will go back to mysitename.wordpress.com?

  If you’re not paying for it each year, it will go back to mysitename.wordpress.com and the custom domain will stop working.

  Do you want to give people the mysitename.wordpress.com link instead? If you have a custom domain and they type that, it could automatically forward to the custom domain.
