  • Hi there,

I want to ask how I can upgrade my free plan to premium plan for my blog on wordpress.com mobile app on play store

Open the app and go to My Site > Plans > WordPress.com Premium

Then you need to follow the steps.

if I upgrade to premium plan,my blog in the free plan, will all be cancelled or be remained intact.

All your blog’s content and the current design will remain intact. Only new features will be added.

And how do I pay for the subscription is it monthly or yearly .

All upgrades and renewals can only be paid a year in advance. There’s no monthly payment option.

If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

I want to ask another question. In my free plan on wordpress, when I make a post and I share to my friends, they aren’t able to like my post, why is that ??? I’ve tried multiple times to make it work but it only said they should sign up

  • The Like button is part of WordPress.com’s social network.

So, like how a Facebook Like button would require a Facebook account, our Like button requires a WordPress.com account.

Okay thanks so if I upgrade to premium plan can they be able to like without requiring wordpress account

  • Your plan does not matter here, to like a post on WordPress.com, the person would need a WordPress.com account. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to show who gave that like.
It’s the same as on Facebook or Instagram – you need an account to be able to interact with a picture published on one of those platform.
