I paid 4050 for business plan and around 3.3k for premium which i cancelled.and still have not yet recieved my money back. I really need it to get refund asap as this was a project under an internship and i will be applicable for any mis leads.

The price you paid for the Business Plan was reduced by the 3,360 you already paid for Premium, so you only paid the difference due for the upgrade to the Business plan.
The regular price of the Business plan is 7,680. You paid 3,360 (Premium) and 4,050 (Business upgrade minus a 25% off coupon) which is 7,410 that you paid in total which will pay for Business for one year.

no, nothing like that was mentioned while paying it. I clearly cancelled the plan which i took before and i got a message of refund will be initiated to me, then I proceeded to buy the business plan. I have not upgraded but cancelled the first one and then bought the second one. I got the message that refund will be provided. Plz give my refund back. I can share ss for stating the msg of refund.

To reassure you – you haven’t over paid, or paid twice when purchasing the premium plan.
As @staff-heroponriki explains, credits were applied when upgrading from the premium to the business plan, and so the premium plan purchase was deducted from the full cost of the business plan.
I can share ss for stating the msg of refund.

Hey there,
Ok, so it doesn’t look like that subscription was cancelled, and this is why the credits totaling ₹3,360 – were applied to the purchase of the business plan, making the purchase of the business in this instance: ₹4,050, instead of a refund.
When the business plan was purchased, this replaces the premium plan as all features in the premium plan, are also present in the business plan.
I hope this helps to clarify things.

this is the SS i took while clicking on that cancel button. I am. Very sure i cancelled after seeing the msg of refund. Also the business plan was always price varying. Still since it’s not clear let me know what i should do,so that i don’t have to pay the complete 7k coz my only need is to have an option to download plugin. If u know any such plan plz let me know.. right away..and also tell me how j will proceed by paying this time.

Hi, if you had completed the cancellation of your Premium plan before, you would also be able to find the cancellation receipt in your Billing History which you can find at this link:

- The standard price of the Premium plan is ₹4,200.
- The standard price of the Business plan is ₹9,600.
- Since you purchased with an introductory offer, you paid respectively:
- ₹3,360 for the Premium plan
- ₹4,050 for the Business plan upgrade (from your non-cancelled Premium plan).
- Between the introductory offer and the coupon you used, you have paid in total ₹7,410.
The total that you have paid for your Business plan is at this time even more discounted than usual. Your Business plan is set up and ready for you to use and I do see that you have installed a plugin on your site.

So, now I want to get the refund. I want to cancel both the plans and just need to connect my domain to the WordPress site. What should I do? don’t want plugins if it costs this much.

while cancelling business it is showing only 6225 will be refunded , I want complete 7410 since I don’t want the .in as well. how can I remove the payment for .in domain?

Hey there,
It’s possible to cancel the business plan via https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/ and you would get a refund for that.
In order to connect the domain to the site, you would need a paid plan – if you wish, I can undo and refund the business plan, and re-instate the premium plan at no extra cost. This means you would get a refund for: ₹4,050.
To get a refund for everything, would mean, there would be no plan in place, and it would not be possible to use a custom primary domain.

If you cancel your Business Plan, you will be required to pay for the domain registration for drprasadswellnesshub.in, which costs 1,185 per year. The domain is free only for the first year if you maintain your plan. Consequently, if you cancel and receive a refund, the refund amount will be reduced by the domain registration cost, which is 1,185. This means that your total refund will be 6,225 (7,410 – 1,185).

To be able to use any plugins on your site, it is necessary to have a Business plan. Based on your requirement for plugins, I recommend that you continue with the Business plan.
As stated on our plans upgrade support page, the pro-rated credits displayed on the Plans page enable you to use the remaining value of your current plan towards an upgrade to a higher-cost plan. Any credit for the remaining time on your current plan will be automatically applied to your upgrade. However, pro-rated credits cannot be applied to any other type of upgrade.
This is why you only paid the difference in cost between the Premium plan and the Business plan when you upgraded to the latter plan.
