  if i buy ‘personal’ plan first, can i change to ‘premium’ plan then with my previous content? what about the charges, i.e. pay $8.25 or $5.26 ($8.25-$2.99) for premium plan then? thanks!

  When you upgrade from Personal to Premium or from Premium to Business you pay the difference between the two plans https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/domain-mapping-almost-impossible-to-understand-how-it-works?replies=4#post-2874012

  If you have a site with a custom domain and then upgrade to a plan, you’ll receive an automatic discount for the domain, but you will need to buy the plan using the same username account that already owns the domain.
