  I paid for an upgrade but my plan still says I am on the free plan. I’m new to WordPress. Can you help me with this situation? Thanks in advance.

  Oh dear, I think I know what happened. I think I had an original site that was free….then then created a new site for a new blog, then in seeing the original after several years, after I had forgotten it……I got confused and I THINK I may have upgraded the wrong site…and then deleted it. I’m a dork! Can someone tell me how I can contact someone to fix this. I’m out almost $200 and stuck with this new “free” site. *sigh*. I know it was moronic for me to mess up this bad. I just need some help from someone that can help me clear this up.

  Sorry to hear about this.

  I’ve added modlook tag to this thread so that a Staff can look into your problem.

  Please provide any additional information such as what particular steps you have taken and most importantly, the URL of both sites of yours (the old and new ones). So when a Staff looks at this thread, it will help them understand your problem and what you intend to do.

  I’m not sure if a deleted site can be restored but depend on your case, there might still be a chance or workaround for this.

  So best of luck resolving this issue.

  Thank you sir. I appreciate your interest. I'm working on this from a couple different angles but any attention that I can bring to it is appreciated. Thanks bunches and I will update with any information I get. I can't believe I painted myself into this corner and I'm frustrated but not because of any response or lack thereof I get from here. I casted a wide net and I hope that I can get this cleared up.

  @sheepinarowboat You still haven’t confirmed the addresses of the sites you are having problems with. Are they both definitely hosted here at WordPress.com? Have you more than one account?

  staff-fred I don’t see modlook in the tag box on the right.

  Hi @themagicrobot,

  I’m sure that I was adding it on my first reply. While I’m doing the second, the tag is gone. Most probably it’s removed by a Staff (this I can’t be sure, of course).

  That being said, once @sheepinarowboat posts both of her URLs here, or if she feels that she needs more help from Staffs (after providing more information), we can add the “modlook” tag back.

  (Although I believe that wouldn’t also be necessary since the Staff should have followed this thread once the “modlook” tag is being added).
