    I want a Personal account to see if I get a positive response and if I start getting an audience, I’d like to upgrade to Premium can I do that anytime without extra costs?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi madlessmovies,

    We understand that you want to delete your account, but to inform you WordPress accounts cannot be deleted as WordPress does not want your username to be reused by someone else.

    However you can delete your site which I think you have already done.

    Your can remove all your personal information and change the password to a random string which will prevent you from accessing your account in future.

    You can also unsubscribe to email notifications from the blogs that you have followed,
    To do so, go to your subscription and check the box that says
    ‘Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on
    WordPress.com’

  • Hi there,

    You can upgrade from one plan to another at any time, but there will be additional costs – if you buy Personal and then later upgrade to Premium you’ll need to pay the difference in cost between the two plans when you upgrade. Then the Premium plan will be valid for a full year from the date that you upgrade.

    I also suggest you check https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-deactivation/ again yourself – we’ve had a notice on that page for two weeks now indicating that we’re introducing an account closure option. That should be available within the next day or two.

    I am so sorry for posting my answer on the wrong thread, probably because of multiple threads open in different tabs.I usually keep my answer on the clipboard because I keep refreshing the page. I’ll make sure that I be more careful posting answers
