Plans and woocommerce plugins

    I purchased a premium yearly subscription, but didn’t know that no plugins are available. I researched and found that wordpress and woocommerce can be free. Which plan do i need?

    If you want to use a plugin on the wordpress;com platform, you must upgrade to the Business Plan, https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    Hi there,

    Even though the WordPress software and the WooCommerce plugin are both open-source and free, you still need to pay for hosting.

    Here on WordPress.com, we have two plans that’ll allow you to install WooCommerce. It’s the Business and the eCommerce plan.

    There are also other hosting providers with more affordable plans, but you need to know that on those other platforms you need to take care of your site’s updates, maintenance, and security. Whereas on WordPress.com we take care all of that for you.
