Playlist Themed Questions

  Hi,

  I am trying to build a website that will have a section on homepage for different playlists that will be made with spotify. I would like these to be displayed in a grid (i was thinking about using a post featured image grid plugin) but also be able to have a sort feature like Sort By: Recently added, most played, etc…

  Also I would like them to have tags associated with each post (playlist) so they can be separated out into genres later on when the site grows and there are a few hundred playlists.

  The other thing I was wondering is if I have someone click one of the posts featured image (playlists), if I go that route, would it be possible to just have the playlist load into a section in the sidebar rather than open up in a new window? This way the user can still browse the site while listening.
