Please add password protect plug-in

Hi, I’m a teacher and have used wordpress.com for my students’ blogs. However, I would like to have a password protect feature on the blog because they are minors. It seems that plug ins in general are only possible through wordpress.og??

You can already password protect individual posts and pages: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
Otherwise you can also make the entire blog private. Invite your students as viewers (or contributors if you also want then to be able to create content) and only you and they will be able to access it. Your students will need to register WordPress.com username accounts in order to be added as viewers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
