Please add pbs.org/newshour to embeddable video play

The PBS NewsHour is revamping connections between its broadcast and website, including adding a video-and-text blog called The Rundown with — if this weekend’s example is what they keep doing — an embeddable javascripted video player. Here’s the first story; the embed code link shows up after you start playing the video:

It’s not on your list of players that can be used at wordpress.com sites, http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/ , but I hope it will be. The NewsHour tends to have a lot to blog about, and its new emphasis in online will be interesting to follow.
I tried embedding the first item in my blog with VodPod, but its player forces the video to auto-start, which I hate when it happens in a quiet school computer lab. I can’t tell whether that’s a PBS problem or a VodPod issue. (My kludgy workaround is a warning line at the top of the post.)

Something I read on the VodPod site leads me to believe that pbs.org isn’t alone in having this problem.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s probably not a Vodpod issue: the BBC and the Guardian also have autoplay videos, which are simply obnoxious. If the source supplies the video in that form, there’s nothing either Vodpod or WordPress can do about it. Even if it were supported here, if they provide only autoplay, then you’d get only autoplay.
