  hmm… interesting… i didn’t know there are so many wordpress-related websites around. i haven’t seen them be4. how did u guys know of these theme webs? is it given by wordpress?

  The only themes currently available to wordpress.com hosted bloggers are found here ->Presentation -> Themes
  If you wish to locate a theme in the wordpress.com theme viewer http://themes.wordpress.net/
  Then you can send in a request to staff during support hours then they will consider adapting that theme to run on our software here.

  themes.wordpress.net hasn’t been updated for months so you won’t find any of the latest themes there. You may want to look at another site such as http://www.wpsnap.com/, http://www.wpthemesfree.com/, or http://www.wpskins.org/.

  These are only really useful if you’re planning to move from wordpress.com to paid hosting, however, as in practice staff are too busy to pay much attention to theme requests.

  Well I wanted to request two themes to be added too, but I thought I would check to see if anyone else had requested to ad themes and see what the responses were.

  IMO-So it sounds like there are alot of themes out there for download for paid hosting. If one is on wordpress.com we take what we can get and staff are too busy to pay much attention to theme requests.

  The themes I looked at were on sites where some of the other themes were already in use on wordpress.com

  I guess I will watch and wait for new ones to arrive.

  You can also learn CSS and adapt existing themes so that if you buy the CSS upgrade you can have a blog that looks much like those ones but works at WP.com. It’s a lot of work, though.

  Thanks raincoaster-I thought about that too-I know html ok but I don’t know if I am ready to learn css yet. Maybe that can be my new hobby next summer-learn css. Thanks again!
