    Hi. I paid for my wordpress site but haven’t used it. (there is an old one I no longer wish to keep published. Is it possible to switch domains and use the account for a new project? (I paid something like $200 and never developed the site, I should hope so if WP wants to keep my business.)

    Can you confirm the URL of the site you’re speaking of for me?

    I see you also sent in an email support ticket where you mentioned the site, midliferebooted.com. That site is hosted by a completely different company, Bluehost.com, and has no connection at all with us on WordPress.com.

    If you wanted to use that domain with your WordPress.com site, you can transfer it to us as explained at https://wordpress.com/en/support/incoming-domain-transfer/

    But the hosting plan you bought from Bluehost cannot be transferred to/used on WordPress.com.

    Here on WordPress.com you currently own a Starter plan you bought yesterday for $60, and a domain, high-strange.com, which you bought for $18. You bought both those upgrades for the site at highstrangecom.wordpress.com
