Best bet would be to send in a feedback on Monday with the link as well as why you want to see this added in.

Well, Feevy is a comunity service for read feeds from diferents blogs. The most recently post appears at the top. Is a new service but is a good idea for change the only-one-feed for the sidebar.

You would think then they would take that combined feed and kick out a single one for you to use.

You can’t. You don’t control your webspace at WordPress.com, just the contents of your blog.

You can’t. If you read this thread, you’ll see the procedure for requesting that it be added. Right now, it won’t work with WordPress.com blogs at all.
