Hallo, thankyou for responding. Yesterday i removed the site as a follower but as you know this does not block them. The name is: franciashis. wordpress.co
i found the wordpress.co to be unusual. Thankyou again for your support. Be safe and well. -

https://francisashis.wordpress.com goes to https://amessiah.blog and I don’t see anything particularly wrong there.
Would you please use https://snipboard.io to share a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
-
That’s because you’re going to wordpress.co, not wordpress.com.
The correct URL for that site is https://francisashis.wordpress.com

Thankyou, but wordpress.co was used by that site as stated in my first question, it was not wordpress.com. So prompted my seeking your advice and also a heads up so that other wordpress users were not caught out by that site. I have deleted that follower, if it shows up again i will let you know. But, something unusual was happening, i will have nothing to do with either site.
When a site/ followers url is francisashis/wordpress.co and perhaps has taken over the original (the icon seemed legit) there must be something untoward going on.
Thanks for your time and effort. -
Hi @steele646,
While the issue may have been due to a typo in the user’s site address, it looks like Norton (as shown in your screenshot) may have flagged that site as a false-positive.
While it’s not possible to block users per se, you can add their username to your disallowed comments section in Settings → Discussion, as outlined here: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/discussion-settings/#disallowed-comments
Hope that helps!
