please bring back individual upgrades

  I was considering bringing my blog back to wordpress.com as I am downsizing from my current hosting plan.

  I was happily planning to spend $48 for domain mapping and no ads, but no! Apparently I cannot get these any more without paying over TWICE as much for some ripoff ‘plan’ that is only $20 cheaper than what I am paying my current host for an unlimited number of blogs, domains, email addresses etc. etc.

  lolnope.

  So you just lost yourselves $48. Kudos. Obviously I realise this is more than offset by the extra cash you are making from selling people features they don’t need, not to mention the extra ads you can sell now fewer people can afford to get rid of them.

  But it’s still money and pageviews I was willing to let you have, and you’re no longer giving me that option, and that seems kind of dumb.

  That said, we do not have any plans to return upgrades to individual purchases at this time.
