PLEASE CALL ME

Hi guys, I know this is not personal.y your fault so I am sorry you are receiving this email, and I am hoping you can help! This is getting beyond frustrating and I will most definitely be changing providers as soon as I can. It’s feels impossible to contact your company or woocommerce and get support. Every provider keeps pointing fingers at the other. We have a domain and e-commerce platform with godaddy, wordpress is our host and we have woocommerce plugins. Our current website theme is great. And we’ve pretty much set up the entire website but now that we’ve done a dummy order of a product the cart is absolutely ridiculous and not user friendly whatsoever. It looks so tacky and unprofessional. Is there any way to change this without changing the entire theme of the website? Can we open another page and theme just for shopping if there is no way to edit the website cart page? What would you suggest here? Also there seems to still be confusion between my wordpress account accounts as apparently it’s WordPress .org through you yet I have a wordpress.com account? I can’t figure out what’s going on! The website URL is inboundnature.com.

  • Hi there! I think I can help you straighten this out. You have a domain and hosting with GoDaddy.

At GoDaddy, you have installed a free, open source copy of WordPress and a free, open source copy of WooCommerce. Here’s how that’s different from our services:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

Open source software is a bit like a free recipe: you can take it and modify it however you’d like. There are lots of free tutorials out there, and themes that you can use to make things look different. But, it doesn’t have a paid customer service center. If you’re not comfortable with DIY developing, you can hire someone to help. We recommend UpWork.com.

If you have a specific thing you’re trying to change and need some help, there is a helpful community available. I’d recommend trying the community for your theme, since you’re describing design issues. Or, you can use the community forum for WooCommerce:
    https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce

Also, while I understand you already have hosting, we do have hosting services here that include paid support for WooCommerce and WordPress. These still don’t include phone support since we’re not in a call center, but they do include chat-based support. If you’re interested, I’d recommend the Business or eCommerce Plan:

I hope all of this helps!
