    Hi there,

This is the support document on where to manage purchases.
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/

    Auto renew:

    Manage Your Purchases

Thanks, but that’s where I kept ending up today and the problem is there’s NOTHING in there.

My hosting is not listed under the purchases tab and there’s no billing history.

    Nothing.

It’s the right blog. I only have one blog with paid hosting and that’s the account. But it’s not showing up on those pages.

    Can you help?

  • Hi there,

I would be happy to assist you in cancelling auto-renew. However, the upgrade that was purchased is not associated with the account you contacted us from. To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into assisting you in disabling auto-renew.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks!

This is so hard. I wish I could TALK to someone. I appreciate you helping me but I don’t know if it’s even possible to do this way. Here goes…

I bought the hosting for voicesforjusticeblog.com and have POINTED the url lindapariscrimeblog.com to it.

    It is a blind re-direct…so you DON’T see voicesforjusticeblog.com…instead you see lindapariscrimeblog.com

Well when I click on the link in the RENEWAL NOTICE that I got in my email…the email says:

    voicesforjusticeblog.com

(because THAT’S the name I bought it under)

    I get THIS message >>>>

This site is marked private by its owner. If you would like to view it, you’ll need permission from the site owner. Request an invite and we’ll send your username to the site owner for their approval.

Well I NEVER made it PRIVATE!

So I have NO IDEA what is going on!

I think the best thing to do is just deny the charge to my American Express when it comes through.

I know you are trying to help me and I appreciate it but something’s wrong, and I’m never going to get to the bottom of it here on an open discussion thread.

I don’t wat to post my username and other things on a public discussion.

Already now people know my whole story.

Is there no number to call?

    Do you work for WordPress?

    Thanks.

  • Is there no number to call?

We do not provide phone support, but I’d be happy to assist you via email if you want to go private.

    Do you work for WordPress?

I do work for Automattic, the company behind the product WordPress.com. However, neither voicesforjusticeblog.com nor lindapariscrimeblog.com is hosted at WordPress.com. I don’t believe we are the ones that are charging you. Also, if you’re being charged for hosting, it’s definitely not us because hosting with us is free.

The fact that the site may have been built using WordPress, or may mention ‘Powered by WordPress’ (or something similar) simply means it is using the WordPress.org software, which can be downloaded and installed on any web host.

Thanks again…No it’s being powered by wordpress.

I got the wordpress hosting through Inexpensive Domains, so I am imagining that is what the problem is.

When I called them they referred me to wordpress.

I’m also being billed by wordpress.

That being said…I think I may have figured out what the problem is…

Either way…thanks again. I apologize for being irate…but this took up my whole day yesterday and it was extremely frustrating.

    Again…apologies…and thanks!

  • You’re welcome! And no need to apologize, I completely understand =).

Let me know if you need any additional assistance.

    Thanks!
