Please cancel my site and refund my fee.

    Hello, I’m having a really hard time trying to have my site canceled. I have attempted to contact WordPress multiple times, have had a lot of trouble in the process. I received a $99 upgrade charge this week, but seem unable to even contact WordPress directly. Throughout this process, my site http://faariavolinski.wordpress.com was supposed to be canceled, and when it wasn’t I was charged the upgrade renewal fee, which I would appreciate being refunded for. Would you be able to please help me permanently cancel my site, and refund me the upgrade cost? I keep being redirected to the “Contact” page, but there is no way to contact wordpress directly. I would appreciate it if this is addressed right away, as I don’t have time to sift through support forums over and over again – it’s far too difficult to reach you.

    Also, the last forum was “topic closed” even though I had a reply. I would appreciate if this problem could be fully addressed before my topic is closed. Many thanks for your help.

    Hi there,

    I just canceled the Premium plan linked to your site https://faariavolinski.wordpress.com and issued a full refund. It may take some time for that refund to appear on your bank statement, but you can find the refund receipt now in your Billing History.

    Thanks Rachel, I appreciate it. I checked the billing history and the same issue also pertains to the site I mentioned in my last post – http://www.pointsofperspective.wordpress.com. I was charged for both sites and tries to cancel both. If you could cancel and refund this site as well then I think we’ll be all set! Thanks for your help.

    Hi Faaria,

    The Premium plan on your other site at http://pointsofperspective.wordpress.com/ was used to register the custom domain name faariavolinski.com. Do you also want to cancel that domain?

    If you cancel the domain faariavolinski.com, you won’t own it anymore and can’t use it anywhere else. There’s a good chance you won’t be able to get it back (either here or with another host or domain registrar), so only cancel it if you don’t want to use it at all.

    If you want to keep that domain name so you can use it again, I can cancel the rest of that Premium plan and refund $73 ($99 for the Premium plan minus $26 for the cost of the domain name and private registration).

    Please let me know which option you prefer and I can take care of that for you.

    Ah yes thanks Rachel, I forgot those were linked! I’d like to keep the domain name (it’s hosted elsewhere now) but not the pointsofperspective site. I’ll expect the $73 refund in this case.
