Please Change My Blog Back to the Classic

  Hey, I’m trying to change my blog back to the classic editer, the only good editer on this site, but the method to do so is still inaccessible. Or maybe the theme I’m using isn’t allowing me to do so? I’m currently using 2012 theme, it should still work with the classic editer.   The Classic block looks just like the classic editor, but it’s in block form. Custom TinyMCE buttons are found in this block.

  Sigh. I think the most despressing thing about the whole travesty of gutenbrg is how a lot of people don’t want to listen to any of the voices rebuking it, decrying it, hating it, and want nothing to do with it. It’s still a clunky, somewhat disordered, and inaccessible mess screen reader wise, or at least it is for me.

  For one thing, I am unable to access, let alone do anything with page templates in the block editer. That was what I was trying to do when I realized that the button to change back to the only good editer isn’t working, it isn’t accessible.

  I just read the article and that’s…..depressing. I’m sorry to see WordPress is killing the best parts of this site, accessibility speaking. I’ll have to make a decision if I want to try and bother figuring out and fighting with the damned block system, or look for an alternative platform. Not sure if there is one though that is good now as WordPress was before this absolute dumpster fire of a mess.
