Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection

    Hi!
My website doesn’t work. If someone tries to look at it it says that http://www.riverhuskies.com can’t handle this request (HTTP ERROR 500). When I try to login to my wordpress it just says ”Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection – wp admin” with all white page with nothing on it. What is going on and how can it be fixed? Thanks

I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there:

To avoid confusion, there are three different “WordPress” at play here:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

You’re only able to manage your website through the WordPress.com dashboard if your site’s Jetpack connection is working properly. Since your site is reporting a 500 error, this will also break the Jetpack connection.

NOTE: Since your site is not hosted at WordPress.com, you would not log in here to perform any administrative tasks or fix any problems with your installation. You would log in at your site’s login page or via FTP (credentials you would get from your host One.com).

You should reach out to your host for help with this issue. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you find and fix this problem.

If you still have trouble, please reach out to the WordPress community for guidance:

    I hope that helps!
