Hey there @manuelkre7, are you able to see your upgrades here?
https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
You should be able to cancel any unwanted upgrades there, but if you are getting an error please let us know.
Also, I noticed today’s charge was for the domain itself. Will you be using that with another provider?

Hello, thanks for your fast answer!
Unfortunately i get this message: “You don’t have any WordPress sites yet.“
If i try to go to following address: https://wordpress.com/domains/manage -> I get following message: “Failed to retrieve all domains”
If i go to “https://wordpress.com/purchases/subscriptions” i get -> Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection
Tried yesterday and today, not working. :(
I dont use another provider as far as I know.

Hey there,
Many thanks for reaching out!
I think I can see what’s happened here – to help us confirm the fix, can you tell us if a migration was run using All in One WP Migrate recently? I can see that this this plugin is installed onto the site.
The reason why I ask is because using this plugin can cause the message you’re seeing on our platform – but rest assured, everything is fixable. :)
Many thanks in advance!

Hello aleone!
No migration was run using All in One WP Migrate recently (i dont even know what that is), i havent touched the site/settings for months (probably not even this year).
Thanks for letting me know that the case is fixable. :)
What can i do next? Many thanks!

Hey there,
Many thanks for that additional information.
I’ve taken a closer look at the account following that information, and there shouldn’t be a reason why that migration would cause that, so we could consider this a red herring…
I can access the domains page, https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/bcgaming-academy.com
If you were to clear the browser cache: https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache – does this page in the account appear as it should?
Many thanks in advance.

Hello aleone,
cleared cache in my chrome and still same messages.
BUT tried logging in in firefox, and i dont get error messages there. I just managed to cancel the active upgrade in the purchases tab. Thank you very much!
The question now is: Could I get a refund of the 22,80€ i got deducted few days ago?
Thanks in Advance.
Manuel

Hey Manuel,
Ah, something is definitely cached in the Chrome browser! I’d recommend keep refreshing, or even logging out and in again in that browser.
The question now is: Could I get a refund of the 22,80€ i got deducted few days ago?
Yes, this can be done on this page here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases – it looks like this is for the domain renewal.
Please bare in mind that when domains are cancelled, they can be difficult, sometimes impossible to retrieve.
For our information, would you be willing to explain why you’re deciding to cancel/refund?
Many thanks in advance!

Just cancelled it, refund on the way!
Just got no time for maintaining my site anymore. Was a little fun project, but using wordpress was great! :)
Thanks for your help!

Thanks for sharing! Feel free to keep the site for as long as you need and set it to private (after cancelling the upgrades), and for sure keep your WordPress.com account in case you want to come back to it some day in the future. We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your experience. :)
