Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection–can’t get to ‘my site’
-
My site isn’t registering (something might be up with DNS?) and I’m trying to solve it but I’m unable to get to the ‘My Site’ tab in the backend.
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Hi there – Could you pass us the URL to the site you’re needing help with?
And when you say “isn’t registering” do you mean it’s not loading at the URL?
-
any time I go to the site with /wp-admin I get redirected to godaddy. I’ve talked to them and they said it’s an issue with my DNS/site mapping… not entirely sure how to fix it.
thank you for your help!

Thanks for clarifying! We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.
It looks like your domain is registered with GoDaddy and using GoDaddy’s nameservers. When I view your site (linked screenshot), I get a message that the domain is parked at GoDaddy.
You see the site in your “My sites” list here at WordPress.com because at one point you had your site connected here through the Jetpack plugin. That connection allows you to manage your site here at WordPress.com, but only if your site is up and running at your hosting provider and properly connected through Jetpack.
Since your site isn’t loading at the moment, you should reach out to your hosting provider for help here. I’m not sure if your site is being hosted at GoDaddy or somewhere else, but if GoDaddy is your host, they should know how to fix this for you.
Once your site is back online, you should be prompted to reconnect Jetpack and you should be able to manage your site on the WordPress.com dashboard again.
I hope that helps!
