    Hi there,

    I see you wish to have a different domain name for your blog. You can change your blog address instead of clearing contents or deleting site if that’s what you mean.

    Following these instructions to change site address:
    – Go to My Sites>Domains
    – Click on your domain and then Edit Site Address
    – Click on Change Blog Address
    – Type the new domain name you wish to have.

    Note: Don’t forget to read the warnings. You won’t get your old domain name back. This can’t be reversed.

    If you want to get rid of .wordpress.com in your domain name then you need to purchase an upgrade plan. Only upgrade plans provide feature of having custom domain.
