  Hi @toddcrowder, normally you’ll be able to close your account on your own, but it looks like you have a site that wasn’t downgraded properly. I can revert it for you so it can be deleted, but you may lose images / content you’ve added since upgrading, and will certainly lose any themes and plugins you’ve added.

  Since you’re deleting the site anyway, it shouldn’t matter, but will you just confirm here that it’s okay for us to remove all of that so you can delete the site, and then the account?

  That has been downgraded and you should be able to close the account as per these instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/close-account/
