  Closing your account will also delete any WordPress.com sites you own:

  Close Your Account

  This process means the address won’t be available for use in the future, even on a new site.

  davidleser.com uses WordPress.org software and is hosted by SureSupport. While that site can be disconnected from your WordPress.com account, it won’t be deleted — this is something you would need to contact your host for help with.
