I lost access to my account a year or so ago, and I was unable to receive help in logging back onto it. I want to END my contract with WordPress.com for my website sharonbergauthor.com Please DO NOT charge me for another year! I don’t know how else to contact you and get REAL action. Your HELP is not helpful at all.

As you have a paid plan, it’s very easy to restore access to your account using the transaction id at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/

It is NOT very easy to access. I have tried every way that I can think of, talking to people in the Help Chat online, talking to them on the phone, being told that I have to present them with an ID I don’t have because what they have on record is different from what I have. I have received emails from them, etc., over & over again, saying ‘just do this’. But when it doesn’t work they cannot help me to get it to work. I have never been able to regain control and I changed nothing in the first place. I didn’t change my password, but one day I just could not log on, and now they just will not give me access, but they will certainly charge me for another year. I am truly frustrated as I need to update my website, and now I am so frustrated that I give up on them. I don’t want them to charge me for another year! This is a fiasco.

Ok, have you tried gaining access via an incognito/private browser?
I suspect that you may not be having success because of being logged into a different account.
If you’re able to do this, we can try and guide you as best we can.
