  Hi, I am simply trying to delete and deactivate this account as it was not what I was looking for. I was trying to access another website. I tried to follow the delete/deactivation instructions, but it did not give me the same options on my account.

  Hi @sidnac504,

  Accounts on WordPress.com can’t be totally deleted since the staff at WordPress.com don’t want other people to use your username in the future. It is however possible to empty your account with all your real info and put in an email address you don’t use, so you won’t have to deal with the account ever again.
