Please delete my website

    Hi,

    I think something went wrong somewhere, i can not delete the website associated with http://www.fillyourbags.com. Also, many functions seem not to be working properly.

    Please delete all the websites with wordpress.com, I want to use the domain!

    Some more details:

    1. I need help with http://www.fillyourbags.com, not the fillyourbags.wordpress.com.
    2. I think this problem is the result of me signing up for a premium membership, associating it with a domain, and then canceling the premium membership
    3. Now, whenever I want to use the fillyourbags.com domain, I basically get only error messages.

    Support on these forums is for WordPress.com only.

    You’ll need to contact GoDaddy for assistance, as they are the domain registrar.

    With a WordPress.org site, you are running your own installation of WordPress that you are responsible for maintaining. If you need support you may head to the awesome https://wordpress.org/support community for assistance.

    If you don’t already have one, you will need to create a free WordPress.org account to post there. You may register here:

    Hi Christina,

    I understand that the site is not hosted at wordpress.com.

    However, have you been to the page? It says powered by wordpress.com, and I would like to have it deleted from wordpress.com.

    Nothing comes up for me. It looks like you are still building it? And it does take me to GoDaddy.

    Now it seems you are asking a different question.
    I see the other site,

    isn’t working either. Are you working in that one?

    One thing to note is that if you are using WordPress.com, the WordPress.com branding stays there until you upgrade to a Business Plan.

    I’m going to go ahead and tag a staff member, with the modlook tag, as they are able to clarify/confirm any WordPress.com accounts. Please be patient, as this week we are to expect slightly longer than normal response times.

    Strange indeed. The Link above always brings me to a wordpress website, with some default text on it.

    I tried with a new account, but now I cant even access the wp-admin of http://www.fillyourbags.com. Also, I can not connect it to the new account.

    This is really messed up, and I would love to continue with my website. Hopefully one of the staff members can look into it asap.

    Nothing happened so far… :-(

    I think its really sufficient to delete my website (which I cant because the option is unavailable), or if this doesnt work, reset my account all together.

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Again, everything I’m seeing other than that footer is saying your site is not hosted here on WordPress.com. Please be patient, staff will respond to this thread. This week we are to expect slightly longer than normal response times.

    Hello i have bought anaktisiarxeion.com from godaddy and changed nameservers with wordpress for my new hosting here. I know i have to wait for the update but i notice that anaktisiarxeion.com redirects to my other site seopedia because i connext it by mistake there. Can you change it so anaktisiarxeion dot com works by its own with no redirects ? I create anaktisiarxeion.wordpress.com

    Hi there,

    The domain, fillyourbags.com, is not registered on WordPress.com. It was mapped here, but the mapping upgrade was removed on 5 September already, and we have no access to or control over that domain at all any more. That domain is also no longer pointed to us, but is now pointed at GoDaddy and loads a GoDaddy landing page if I enter it in my browser.

    If that link still takes you to WordPress.com it’s because your browser is redirecting you here. If you clear your browser cache, that should stop happening.

    The WordPress.com site you had with the Business Plan cannot be deleted because you had installed plugins on it, which changes the way the site works. To delete that site we’ll first need to reconnect the domain, then I can revert it to how it was before you installed plugins. But that site still existing here with us has no effect whatsoever on your ability to use your domain somewhere else.
