Some would consider it borderline child porn, some would not.

Ah ha! I did not browse through, so I did not see that. It’s not borderline – having a naked kid (although parts covered) and an exposed woman in the same picture would be considered child pornography/explotation in the US (and virtually all European countries). So, it is illegal.

I have reported as Mature, again.
Increasing the hit rate is not the way to go here.
Once the modlook tag goes up we bloggers are expected to remain silent and wait for staff to remove the link. -

By posting the link to this blog on the forum you have defeated your own purpose. Posting the link merely encourages everyone to click it and make judgment calls. This is not helpful because only staff can make the judgment as to whether or not the material appears to be illegal in accord with American law. If it is not and Mark has already said this about this same blog then staff can see to it that the blog is properly labeled “mature” and removed from the tag pages as well as form consideration for Top Blog, Growing Blog and Top Posts listing.If you find a blog with unsuitable contents you do not post to the forum.

I’ve reported an adult site here too. They have nude photos on a general audience site? They know what they’re doing. I’ve reported it here and so have others but nothing has been done yet. I’ve also reported her (?) to ASACP. She (?) claims on her weblog to be in the business for 8 years so she (?) knows what she’s (?) doing. No doubt about it. Trying to sell adult items to our children is insane. They know what they’re doing. No one would posts nude pics of themselves on a general audience site. It must stop. No one should be allowed to harm a child in any way. PERIOD. Someone has to protect the young from these types. They’ll stop at nothing.

Simply pornographic is allowed as long as it doesn’t break laws. You can report a blog as Mature, but that’s it. It will remain visible, but will disappear from any of the public reports here (tag lists, Top blogs, Recent Posts, etc). If they are selling something, then it’s a different matter because it violates the TOS regarding commercial use.

Wordpress.com relies on the bloggers themselves to voluntarily declare their site as “mature”. When they don’t the back-up is the community members such as you and I who report mature sites to staff so that they will be made “private”.It’s utterly senseless to ask flesh peddlars who are selling cheap thrills to stop or to engage them in conversation at all on the subject at all. At this point wordpress.com bloggers cannot initiate and gain from advertising on their sites. Hence, the numbers of flesh peddlars here are much lower that they are at monetized sites like blogspot. When that changes here we can expect an increase in both flesh peddlars and sploggers too.
Please safe yourself some grief, simply use the report as mature button and let staff take care of the matter.

You don’t seem to understand: the blog was closed because it contained content that is illegal in the United States, not Indoneisa. Only the laws of the United States govern what can be posted in a WordPress.com blog.
WordPress.com blogs are never closed simply for being offensive. That would be, in fact, illegal under the laws of the US, where freedom of speech is guaranteed under law.
