Please Disconnect Jetpack Sites
-
I need to disconnect/remove sites that were once connected via Jetpack for which I no longer have the login information. Would you please remove these two sites:

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please remove this Jetpack connected website from my list as I no longer have access to the website dashboard.

I’m sorry Shawna but I’m not sure if the disconnection went through. I’m still getting incessant “New User Registration” emails from one of the sites. I thought that was supposed to stop once Jetpack has been disconnected…

That’s actually a core WordPress function not related to Jetpack. This will show you how to disable it:

Let me know if I can help further!

I see. The problem is that I don’t have the login information for that site anymore, and I’m not sure if I can get it. Am I forced to endure these emails forever?
-
Since you have access to the email that’s connected to the admin account, you should be able to reset your password and regain access:

That was a smart suggestion, thank you, but I’ve apparently lost admin access and can’t disable the registration option anymore. When I reset my password and logged in, the administration link on the left was gone. All I could access was ‘Profile’ and ‘Tools’. What I’ve done is change the required email address field to some made up address and hopefully the new user registration emails will stop, right?

The registration notices won’t stop going through WordPress after that, but they’ll just go to that new (fake) email you chose. But less annoying for you. :)

Thank you!

@alexjgustafson: the notification emails haven’t stopped, despite me redirecting them to a new fake email address. how is this possible?? i really want to stop getting these notifications.

Given that the site in question is a self-hosted WordPress site and the issue is not connected to Jetpack, there is not a lot that WordPress.com staff can do for you.
Your best bet is to search and/or post here:
Lots of good WordPress.org site users and info there.
