  go to dashboard> tools> ……you will get a drop down menu…from where you can delete all your content……

  hope this may help you…..

  DON’T GO TO DASHBOARD TOOLS!!!!!! that will delete you entire blog and the name – the name will be gone forever and can’t be used again – use the bulk edit tools as outlined below – then you can start over with the same blog name

  Thanks. I’ll try deleting them myself.
  (It’s just that the Dashboard tools tells me to come here if I want my blog to be emptied so I did what it says :D ).

  hey,,,,but from dashboard> tools> there is option of both in the dropdown menu , i.e

  1.empty my site of all content

  2.permanently delete my site and all content…

  so, for content deletion we can use the 1st option…..am i wrong…?????

  OK – sorry – –

  overlooked that hidden one – but that sends you to the staff for them to delete things – takes a while for the staff to get to it –

  Every day we deal with people that went into the Delete part of the Tools and grabbed the wrong option – and everything went away – the link I left lets the blog owner clear things themselves now – only takes a few minutes unless you have thousands of Posts and Pages

  The confusion I had with your instructions was that you did not have the full path to the final option “empty contents”

  mcentre, it does have those options and when you choose “Empty my site of all content” it tells you to contact support. That’s why I posted here.

  You can quickly remove your contents by deleting them in bulk. You’ll find details here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  Alternatively, we can empty the whole blog for you, but that will remove all data including posts, pages, tags, categories, comments, images, and any other uploaded files. Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.

  If you are sure you want to proceed, please reply to confirm that you would like us to go ahead and empty http://fromtotoro.wordpress.com.

  Please I’d like it emptied. It doesn’t have many posts now but I’m tired of deleting tags & categories and my connection’s bugging when I bulk-deleted the posts.

  Thank you for your help. Just to inform you that tags and categories are still left behind. I’m deleting them now so don’t worry about that.

  PS: Off-topic but… I think yesterday your title that I saw was “Happiness Engineer”?
