    I’ll be happy to help you today! I understand you’d like to use your own domain with your WordPress.com site. You can add your own domain using Domain Connection, which is included with all WordPress.com plans.

    To get started, please choose a WordPress.com plan for your site. Depending on your site needs, you can choose any of our plans.

    If you’re not sure, feel free to tell us if you have any specific needs (like collecting payments from customers on your site). We’ll be able to suggest a plan once we know more about your site requirements.

    If you mainly just want a domain, you can choose the WordPress.com Personal plan. This plan lets you set your own domain as the primary address, removes ads, and increases the media storage capacity of your site.

    Once you’ve upgraded, please follow these two sets of instructions:

    1. Add a domain connection. If you want to use an IP address to point your domain to WordPress.com, here’s how to do that.
    2. After a few hours of adding the WordPress.com nameservers or IP addresses to the domain, follow these steps to set your domain as the primary address.

    At this point, the domain will start loading your WordPress.com site, and it will have an SSL certificate installed, which is free for all sites hosted on WordPress.com.
