  I wanted to change my blog site to http://alexandras-corner.com from http://alexandrasphotography.com …I redirected my Godaddy account (forwarded it) and changed my wordpress info under settings in the dashboard. I lost everything.

  Now I’ve turned forwarding from my godaddy account off, but can’t access my dashboard – please, can someone help a girl out? I’ve put so much time/effort into this blog to lose it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The blog you specified at alexandrasphotography.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

  Your info is safe – but you need to make friends at WordPress.ORG as noted above. Your mistake is a common one.

  But I am confused I used Prophoto4 to register with WordPress.com -not wordpress.org. I use the dashboard template to edit/make changes.

  alexandras-corner.com does not seem to be registered

  alexandrasphotography.com points to Godaddy not WordPress.COM and is not a WordPress.COM site. It is hosted on Godaddy and is a WordPress.ORG install.

  WordPress.ORG is the keeper of the WordPress software – they do no hosting.

  On the off chance you are in the correct forum What is the base WordPress.COM blog that you have domain mapped?

  I still think you are in the wrong forum.

  Maybe I am, maybe I’m not. I really am not familiar with all this lingo as I’m a newbie to website building. So I apologize if I am in the wrong spot, I just want to know how to fix the problem. (I’ve also posted my problem there to see if I can get any help)

  My WordPress.COM blog is alexandrasphotography.com. I registered with godaddy – but log in through wordpress.COM to edit. I also am using prophoto4 to do all my customization.
