I recommend checking daily and purchasing through your preferred website host just as soon as it becomes available again.
Saving you from the complexities of domain ownership, this is the only way you could truly “transfer” the domain to another host, because all newly purchased domains are “locked” for 60 days and cannot be transferred. Because you cancelled quickly, you only need to follow the guidance above.
