  My draft was autosaved but is not there!

  Hi there,

  Can you tell me a bit more about the trouble you are having? What is the title of the post/page you were working on, and can you give us a brief description of what is missing so we will know it if we find it in our investigation?

  Also did you happen to be working offline at all during that period?

  I wasn’t working offline. I had not titled the page/post yet, so “Untitled”. The content was a poetic prompt about soup. I had been working on it for a couple hours. It said “Autosaving” at the top of page. I clicked back to view it in draft form. It was not there.

  No, that is a new one. I had to start it all over.
  I guess the other is in cyberspace somewhere. I did not delete it. It disappeared after hitting the back button.

  I’m looking at the logs and I don’t see any saved draft posts from the last couple of weeks. 5 days ago, there were 2 posts moved to the trash. You can restore those from here: https://wordpress.com/posts/trashed

  It’s possible that there was a connection issue where the internet was not working. If this continues to be an ongoing problem we need to figure it out for you, obviously.

  Please try making a test post with a test title and save it the same way you did before to see if the problem is resolved or if it is ongoing. I want to be sure you don’t lose any other work in the future while we fix it up.
