  I purchased a domain and wordpress account on 4/27. I haven’t been able to launch my domain. I only had access to wordpress blog. Every time I went to edit… it deferred to the blog. How can I retrieve the domain linked to my name to take to godaddy.

  Hi there!

  It seems you registered the domain using a different WordPress.com account, not the @msimic586 account you’re posting from. You will want to log into the correct account and then head to My Site → Settings → Launch Site. Once that’s done, your site will be launched publicly, and it will be viewable by everyone.

  If you need help logging into the correct account, you can fill out the account recovery form here. You will need the transaction ID, which you can find on your credit card statement.

  You can also email our account recovery team at passwordhelp@wordpress.com.

  Please note that your domain also has hosting included as part of the WordPress.com plan you purchased, so you wouldn’t need another hosting company like GoDaddy. You’ll be paying double since hosting is already included in your WordPress.com plan.
