  please help, there is no one to help me add a donation button

  Here’s a link that will help you add a PayPal or a donation button:

  First go to paypal.com/login and log in to your account. Click on Profile on the main menu. Once at your profile click on My Selling Tools. Then look for PayPal Buttons and click on Get Started. First choose a button type, you’ll probably want either Donations or Buy Now. Fill in the required fields. Do not select the box next to any of the customization options, if you do the button won’t be able to be used on WordPress.com.

  Click on create. You’ll see two sets of code. You have to use the link provided in the email tab. In a separate tab in your browser open your site and switch to the text editor. Add an image for people to use. Then switch back to the visual editor. Go on to add the link to your image, it’s the link that was provided for you in the Paypal Email code. Click the image in your visual editor and then click on the link icon and paste the code into the Link URL field.

  Preview or publish and make sure to check the button to see if it works properly!

  The instructions seem inaccurate. In the beginning, WordPress claims that a Paypal button can be added to the widget area with the Text Widget. I have not found this to be so. No link, but I can get the button. What gives?
