Please help-changing Domain to another .wordpress.com domain

    My problem is that I set up a blog with the domain ******trial.wordpress.com with the intention to change it afterwards. I did this because I wanted the site to be complete before it was available at the domain I wanted to. Now that the site is complete, I want to take out the “trial” and simple have******.wordpress.com. However I cant find a way to do this. I have read through several topic and articles, but I cannot figure out a solution. I am not very experience in programming and I do not understand alot of the terminology from the articles therefore I find alot of the advise in those articles and topics unhelpful.

    The top level domain at this site is http://wordpress.com our free blog host. All of our blogs are on sub-domains. Some purchase domain mapping to map their blogs on sub-domains to their own domain.

    This is the sub-domain address or URL for the blog linked to your username. http://uscasatrial.wordpress.com/

    This is the title of the blog and the tagline whcih can be changed at any time here Settings > General

    If you want to change the sub-domain address or URL for the blog linked to your username to get rid of the “wordpress.com” part of your address, then you need to purchase a custom domain for your site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/

    If you don’t want to get rid of the “wordpress.com” but you do want to get rid of the “trial” part of your address there is not mechanism for that. You will have to register another blog with the sub-domain URL you want, provided it is available. Then you will have to move your content into the new blog and change the original blog visibility to “private”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
