Please help define what I am getting with the premium site…?

  Hi, I really like one of the premium themes and am considering getting it but I am confused as to what exactly I am paying for or what I am getting other than the beautiful theme with no ads and more space.
  Is it a one time cost?
  Considering it is a premium site does this include a .com option in the price or for extra? Please help to clarify…

  Hi there. You need to distinguish between premium themes and the premium upgrade bundle.

  If you buy a premium theme, that is all you get – a theme. Premium themes are purchased once-off for a specific blog.Once purchased, that theme remains yours to use for as long as the blog exists but you can only use it on the specific blog for which you bought it. The only “extra” you get is a dedicated support forum for your theme. http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/premium-themes/

  The Premium Upgrade bundle is also bought for a specific blog, but must be renewed annually and does not contain any premium themes. What you do get is a custom domain, 10GB extra storage space, the No Ads upgrade, the Custom Design upgrade and Videopress. https://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/

  If you’re not interested in the entire premium bundle, you can also buy a custom domain on its own. That means you’d buy the premium theme (once off) and then buy the custom domain as well (renewable annually). http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
