Please help, everything is broken. Disconnected Jetpack and can't find my website.
-
Hello.
I came here to update my website for the first time in about 6 months, and when I went to my domain it had been taken down and replaced with a warning saying ‘You have reached a domain that is pending ICANN verification’. I never received an email asking me to verify my WHOIS information, so I went and logged into wordpress (which got a makeover since the last time I was logged in to the site) to figure out why my emails (using my domain name) weren’t linking properly to my gmail. I was met with an empty page an no information, popups telling me that my Jetpack was not up to date, but whenever I tried to update them I was taken to a page with a server loading error. I read on a few different help sites that sometimes disconnecting and reconnecting Jetpack helped fix issues like this, so I disconnected my Jetpack from my site (which I’ve never tried before) and now all trace of my website is completely gone from my wordpress dashboard. I can’t for the life of me figure out how to reconnect Jetpack or even how to claim my already fully made and totally functional domain. The only options I have are making a new website.
I’m obviously not very wordpress savvy, I created this website when I was in college to use as a portfolio and haven’t touched it much since then, so any help would be very much appreciated. I’m kind of freaking out here, I put a lot of work into this website and it’s all inaccessible.
Thanks.
Carly
