i tried resetting my website. After that, nothing works again.
i cant even add any theme or plugin. Because they say Website is Unreachableam getting this massage when i try debugging it

The site I need help with is ratingdeals.co.za. It is not hosted by WordPress.com, but it is connected with Jetpack.

We’re being blocked from accessing https://ratingdeals.co.za/xmlrpc.php?for=jetpack which Jetpack requires to function.
Unfortunately, blocking XML-RPC is not a great solution for fighting security risks. It’s akin to selling your car because you don’t want it to be stolen.
Your site’s XML-RPC file is kind of like a communication gateway to your site. Jetpack, the WordPress Mobile Apps, and other plugins and services will use this file to communicate to your site. If this is blocked, you will have other issues pop-up down the road for the same reasons.
If you are using any security plugins, please try connecting with those temporarily deactivated. If you don’t have any, or if that didn’t work, I would suggest contacting your hosting provider and asking them to unblock your site’s XML-RPC. The most popular hosting providers out there have managed to find other ways to protect their servers without having to hinder your site and your ability to use services with your WordPress site.
If they refuse to make any changes, and if you want to use apps and plugins like Jetpack, I’d suggest looking for a new host. Here are a few hosts we recommend: https://jetpack.com/hosting/

We have optimized the PHP version and is already having upgraded wordpress version. Also the wordpress admin panel is loading fine.
However regarding the plugin issue you have to contact your developer and resolve the issue since our assistance in development is limited. )

The problem is not with your PHP or WordPress version. It’s with XML-RPC.
Jetpack uses XML-RPC to communicate with your site, but access to that is being blocked, either by your host on your server, or else by a security plugin on your site, or even in some cases a maintenance mode plugin.
The only help we can give is to offer you this information – we have no access to either your server or your site’s dashboard to check what exactly is blocking access.

i did install a maintenance plugin before resetting the site
Upon checking, we could see that WordPress dashboard is loading with no activity page.
As per your request, we have whitelisted the Mod security rules which were triggered earlier. However, disabling mod security can not be done from our side.
Also note that, to deactivate the mail poet plugin and the twenty-twenty one theme is not possible, as the options are not available in the WordPress dashboard of the domain. Upon checking, we could find the theme and plugin under wp-content of website files. I have renamed the files for now.
that is the reply i got from my hosting again
i also asked then to deactivate the plugin mailpoet for me since wordpress says it has caused fatal error to my site but it seems they are not able to do that

Hi there,
Have you asked them about XML-RPC? If access to this file is being blocked, then Jetpack won’t be able to connect to WordPress.com.
